BISHOP O.G.RANKIN, SENIOR PASTOR

I'm the Co-founder and Senior Pastor of First United Gospel Assembly in Gulfport, Mississippi. While I’m honored to pastor a local church, my calling extends beyond the walls of our congregation. I’m also committed to serving other pastors and church leaders. Over the years, through apostolic leadership, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside pastors who've been restored and empowered to return and rebuild their ministries.

My journey has taken me across the U.S. and around the world, and it’s been a blessing to pour into the lives of both leaders and everyday believers. Since 1997, my wife and I have hosted the Leading With A Cause Leadership Conference every January. It’s become a powerful time where leaders from near and far gather for connection, growth, encouragement, and fellowship.

I’ve also written two books, Beyond the Anointing and No One Dies Here; both were born from a desire to share insight and equip the next generation of leaders. My heart is to leave a legacy of godly wisdom that inspires leaders to go deeper, beyond the anointing, into the very presence of God with the bold assurance that No One Dies Here.

 LADY DEBRA RANKIN, STAFF LIASION

I'm the Co-founder and Elect Lady of First United Gospel Assembly in Gulfport, Mississippi. I've had the honor of serving in ministry alongside my husband since the 1980s, and over the years, I've been humbled to be seen as a trailblazer for other women finding their place in ministry.

I founded the Sisters of Wisdom Ministry, which operates through our local church. It’s a space for teaching, mentoring, and empowering women, whether they’ve grown up in church or are just beginning their spiritual journey. My heart is to continue mentoring future pastors’ wives and all women, helping them walk boldly in their calling.

On a more personal note, one of our greatest joys is our family. My husband and I are proud parents of three; Ungela, Greg Sr., and Shelly and we’re blessed with 14 grandchildren,  9 great-grandchildren  and still adding! 

At First United Gospel Assembly (FUGA), our vision transcends the local—it is Kingdom-centered and Spirit-led. We are called to be a consecrated training ground where God’s people are equipped in commitment, excellence, unity, and empowerment, all cultivated in His holy presence. Rooted in Ephesians 4:11–13, our mission is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God." We are called to raise up leaders and servants who lead by example—restoring, building, and strengthening the Church across denominational, racial, ethnic, and even international boundaries.

We endeavor to be a beacon of excellence in ministry, a company of believers clothed in the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11), walking boldly in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), bearing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23), and standing in the gap to repair the breach (Isaiah 58:12).

We embrace our calling to return to our first love (Revelation 2:4), to prayer, and to the apostles’ doctrine (Acts 2:42). Having been entrusted with the gifts and callings of God (Romans 11:29), we are sent to seek and save the lost, to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18), and to lead all into the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 3:19).

This is our divine assignment—to be a living demonstration of the Kingdom of God on earth, commissioned not by man but by the Spirit, to prepare a people ready for the Lord.

We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Although there are three; They are One. We believe that the Bible is the immutable and infallible Word of the Lord God written by Holy men of God as the Holy Ghost inspired each of them. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of the Fruit of the Spirit and the operation of spiritual Gifts. We believe the Church, the Body of Christ, is the Bride of Christ and representative of the Kingdom of Heaven in the Earth.
